Following the next couple of days, Jane tried to organically bring up the topic of wanting to also go on the safari trip, but when Robert checked with the booking agency, they said they were fully booked and could not accommodate Jane, even if they wanted to.

Feeling sorry for her, Robert and Sara said they would cancel the trip, and book a new one with all three of them. But it was then Jane who rebuked their decision, saying they might not find a suitable date because of Sara's college schedule, and didn't want her daughter to miss the trip she was so eager to go to. And to reassure her daughter, Jane said whenever they would all go for the trip together next time, both Robert and Sara could be ones who would guide her and it would be double the fun for both of them.
